11 Global & 91 national experts to guide 2600 students in GTU Research Week

During 18 days PG & PhD students to present their research work

Ahmedabad: Research Week has been started from 7th March in Gujarat Technological University (GTU) on very large scale at Chandkheda Campus. Total 2600 students from 60 colleges comprising of Post Graduate courses and PhD will present their research work. 10 International and 91 National experts will guide the students to improve their research work during the event till 1st April, 2017.

Under the guidance of Prof. (Dr) Navin Sheth, Vice Chancellor of GTU, this year experts from prestigious national institutes like Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, IITs, NITs, College of Engineering – Pune, MNIT-Jaipur, MNIT-Allahabad etc. have been called to guide the students. Expert Faculty members from USA, Slovenia and Canada will also guide the students. Many experts from various universities of Gujarat are also participating in the mega event.

Dr. Sunil Mane and D. Vinod Pachghare from College of Engineering Pune who are expert in Cloud Computing and Data Mining as well as Mahadev Choudhary from MNIT, Jaipur, an expert in Water Resources Management gave guidance to students on first day of Research week. Apart from this, two faculty members from PDPU are guiding the students on Plastic and Rubber topics. Today’s other research themes include networking / security, Advanced Concrete Technology, Image Processing, Bio-Medical, Structural Design, Manufacturing – casting, metal joining, formin, Earth Quake Engg & Seismic Analysis, Cryptography, Information Security etc.

જીટીયુ રિસર્ચ સપ્તાહમાં 11 આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય અને 91 રાષ્ટ્રીય નિષ્ણાતો 2600 વિદ્યાર્થીઓને માર્ગદર્શન આપશે

અનુસ્નાતક અને પીએચડીના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ 18 દિવસમાં રિસર્ચ કાર્યનું પ્રેઝન્ટેશન કરશે

અમદાવાદઃ ગુજરાત ટેકનોલોજીકલ યુનિવર્સિટી (જીટીયુ)ના ચાંદખેડા કેમ્પસમાં આજથી રિસર્ચ સપ્તાહનો પ્રારંભ થયો છે, જે પહેલી એપ્રિલ સુધી ચાલશે. ખૂબ મોટાપાયે યોજાનારા આ રિસર્ચ સપ્તાહમાં જીટીયુ સંલગ્ન 60 કૉલેજોના અનુસ્નાતક કોર્સ અને પીએચડીના 2600 વિદ્યાર્થીઓ પોતાના રિસર્ચ કાર્યનું પ્રેઝન્ટેશન કરશે. તેની સમીક્ષા કરવા 11 આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય અને 91 રાષ્ટ્રીય નિષ્ણાતોને આમંત્રણ આપવામાં આવ્યું છે.

જીટીયુના વાઈસ ચાન્સેલર પ્રો. (ડૉ) નવીન શેઠના માર્ગદર્શન હેઠળ દેશ-વિદેશની જે પ્રતિષ્ઠિત સંસ્થાઓના પ્રતિનિધિઓને રિસર્ચ સપ્તાહમાં બોલાવવામાં આવ્યા છે, તેમાં બૅંગ્લોરની ઈન્ડિયન ઈન્સ્ટીટ્યુટ ઑફ સાયન્સ, વિવિધ આઈઆઈટી અને એનઆઈટી, પૂણેની કૉલેજ ઑફ એન્જીનિયરીંગ-પૂણે, એમએનઆઈટી-અલ્હાબાદ, એમએનઆઈટી-જયપુર વગેરેનો સમાવેશ થાય છે. તે ઉપરાંત અમેરિકા, સ્લોવેનિયા અને કેનેડાથી પણ નિષ્ણાતોને બોલાવવામાં આવ્યા છે. ગુજરાતની વિવિધ યુનિવર્સિટીઓના અનેક નિષ્ણાતોની પણ રિસર્ચ સપ્તાહમાં મદદ લેવામાં આવી રહી છે.

પૂણેની કૉલેજ ઑફ એન્જીનિયરીંગના ડૉ. સુનીલ માને અને ડૉ. વિનોદ પાચઘરે કે જેઓ ક્લાઉડ કૉમ્પ્યુટીંગ અને ડેટા માઈનિંગના નિષ્ણાત પ્રોફેસર છે, તેઓ જીટીયુના રિસર્ચ સપ્તાહમાં સેવા આપી રહ્યા છે. જયપુરની એમએનઆઈટીના મહાદેવ ચૌધરી તથા ભાવનગરની એન્જીનિયરીંગ કૉલેજના ડૉ. આર.કે.જૈને જળ સંસાધન વ્યવસ્થાપન વિષયમાં વિદ્યાર્થીઓને સચોટ માર્ગદર્શન પૂરૂં પાડ્યું હતું. પીડીપીયુના બે પ્રાધ્યાપકો પ્લાસ્ટિક અને રબ્બર વિશે વિદ્યાર્થીઓને માર્ગદર્શન આપી રહ્યા છે. આજે વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ રજૂ કરેલા પ્રેઝન્ટેશનના વિષયોમાં નેટવર્કીંગ, અત્યાધુનિક કોંક્રિટ ટેકનોલોજી, ઈમેજ પ્રોસેસિંગ, બાયો-મેડિકલ, સ્ટ્રક્ચરલ ડિઝાઈન, મેન્યુફેક્ચરીંગ – કાસ્ટીંગ, મેટલ જોઈનિંગ, ફોર્મીંગ, ભુકંપ એન્જીનિયરીંગ અને તેનું વિશ્લેષણ વગેરે મુદ્દાઓનો સમાવેશ થતો હતો.
