GTU CiC3 Tinkers Team secure 4th National Rank in Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2018

Aim of Competition is to improve college students’ engineering application capability, arouse their interests in learning technology, build up innovation capacity and cooperation spirit, as well as improve their self-management ability and communication skills. Theme of Competition was “Innovative Solutions for Smart Manufacturing”, each team has to develop independently design and produce a complete set of devices/models by using Mitsubishi Electric factory automation products. For Competition purpose, Basic set of Mitsubishi Electric FA components (comprising of PLC, HMI and VFD or Servo Drive – Servo Motor set) had been given to the participating institute and since last 5 month (Oct 2017 to Feb 2018) all team has worked on given components and developed prototype/Product.
In National Level Competition for Factory Automation Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2018 was held 16th -17th February 2018. All team has demonstrated their developed product/prototype. GTU Tinker team had develop Automatic Transformer Winding Machine for Small Scale Factories, developed prototype can wind 3 bobbins at one same time and it can be increase upto 9 bobbins.
