The most innovation and research oriented Gujarat Technological University(GTU) in association with Anchrom Enterprises(I) Pvt. Ltd. Organises a specialised session on “HIGH PERFORMANCE THIN LAYER CHROMATOGRAPHY(HTPLC)” for Students of Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy from GTU Affiliated and Non GTU affiliated Colleges.
Programme is open for all, and any interested person may take part into this programme.
HPTLC is a liquid chromatography technique used for qualitative, quantitative, fingerprint analysis as well as micro-preparative isolations.
The “visual” nature of HTPLC has made it the official method “for identification of materials of botanical origin by HTPL fingerprint”.
The main advantage of HPTLC are that results can be seen by the human eye, can analyse up to 5 types of samples, 15 of each in parallel, sample remain on plate and so any sample is acceptable , post chromatography derivatisation is simple and routinely possible to get additional information about sample.
Application of HPTLC include organic synthesis samples, formulations analysis, impurity profiles, stability studies, all kinds of analysis of botanical origin materials. HPTLC is very important in India because it is simple to use, flexible, shareable, fast, gives tremendous information about samples, low cost of analysis and maintenance.
Mr. Akshay Charegaonkar, Director, Anchrom Enterprise(I) P. Ltd.,Mumbai will give his expert lecture and guidance in the session.
Any under graduate, post graduate and Ph.D. Students , faculty members from GTU affiliated and Non GTU affiliated colleges and Pharma people from industry, who are aspiring to learn about HPTLC can participate.

જીટીયુ દ્વારા ‘’ હાઇ પરફોર્મન્સ થિન લેયર ક્રોમેટોગ્રાફી’’ ઉપર વિશેષ તાલીમી વર્કશોપ.
ટેકનોલોજી, કોમ્પુટર સાયન્સ, મેનેજમેન્ટ અને ફાર્મસી ક્ષેત્રે વધુને વધુ માત્રામાં અને વધુ ને વધુ ગુણવતાયુક્ત અભ્યાસ-સંશોધનને પ્રોત્સાહન આપવું તે જીટીયુની એક મહત્વની કામગીરી છે. અને આ ક્ષેત્રે જીટીયુ દ્વારા અનેક સિદ્ધિઓ હાંસલ કરવામાં આવી છે.
આવા જ એક પ્રયાસ રૂપે ફાર્મસીના ક્ષેત્રે જે વિદ્યાર્થીઓ, પ્રાધ્યાપકો કે ઉદ્યોગના લોકો અભ્યાસ-સંશોધનમાં કાર્યરત છે તેમને ઉપયોગી એવી એક ટેકનિક, એક રિસર્ચ-ઇન્સ્ટ્રુમેન્ટનો પોતાના અભ્યાસ-સંશોધનમાં કેવો અને કેવી રીતે ઉપયોગ કરવો તે માટે આવતીકાલ તા. ૨૯ જૂન ૨૦૧૭ ના રોજ બપોર પછી ત્રણ થી પાંચ વાગ્યા દરમિયાન જીટીયુ કેમ્પસ ખાતે જ એ-૧ કોન્ફરન્સ હોલમાં એક શોર્ટ-સેશનનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું છે.
એન્ક્રોમ એન્ટરપ્રાઇઝના સહયોગમાં જીટીયુ દ્વારા યોજાયેલા આ ઇન્ટર-એક્ટિવ સેશનમાં જે રિસર્ચ-ઇન્સ્ટ્રુમેન્ટ વિશે ભાગ લેનાર સંશોધકોને માર્ગદર્શન-માહિતી મળવાના છે તેનું નામ છે.- “હાઇ પરફોર્મન્સ થિન લેયર ક્રોમેટોગ્રાફી(HPTCL)”.
મુખ્યત્વે જીટીયુ સાથે જોડાયેલી ફાર્મસી કોલેજોના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ, પ્રાધ્યાપકો અને ફાર્મસી-ઉદ્યોગમાં સેવારત અભ્યાસીઓ અને સંશોધકો માટેના આ સેશનમાં અન્ય ઉત્સુકો પણ તદન નિ:શુલ્ક રીતે ભાગ લઇ શકશે.
ફૂડ, કેમિકલ અને ફાર્મા જેવી તમામ કંપનીઓ, કોલેજો અને યુનિવર્સિટીઓ માટે ઉપયોગી એવા આ હાઇટેક ઇક્વિપમેન્ટ દ્વારા વિવિધ પ્રકારના પદાર્થો, તત્વોનું રાસાયણિક પ્રૂથ્થકરણ કરી શકાય છે.પછી એ કોઇ વનસ્પતિ હોય કે અન્ય પદાર્થ હોય.ખૂબ કિંમતી એવા આ અત્યંત આધુનિક રિસર્ચ-ઇન્સ્ટ્રુમેન્ટનો ઉપયોગ અને તેની વાપરવાની જાણકારી મેળવવી એ સંશોધકો માટે એક મૂલ્યવર્ધક જ્ઞાન-માહિતી ગણી શકાય જેના દ્વારા એમની કારકિર્દીમાં ધણો મોટો તફાવત સર્જાય શકે છે.
