GTU ROBOTICS CLUB has been shortlisted (Top 35 Across India) for Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2020. Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2020 is a competition organized at the national level in the field of factory automation. Gujarat Technological University runs a Robotics Club, which prepares students to deliver their talent to the industry through such different competitions. Recently, 152 teams from India participated for the Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2020, from which one team from GTU and two teams from GTU affiliated college have been selected from all over Gujarat.
The project - Automatic notebook making and packing machine is Unified one platform solution for making notebooks for small scale industries. Machine will have intuitive and secure user defined web application for controlling and monitoring it’s parameter like current production rate, power consumption rate, unit economics. Web application has secure login for authentication. Packaging will be done by SCARA robot. Process will be done on one assembly line which is operated by a conveyor belt. Conveyor belt will actuated through Induction motor.
As this year’s theme suggests, proposed idea should satisfy, “Visualizing IOT Solutions for Smart Automation”. Proposed idea has remote (through web app/mobile) monitoring & control. Machine will have web application for total controlling and monitoring of machine
