Number of the Foreign students coming to India for studies is increasing. Students from different and developed countries come to India under different programmes and leave the country with the acknowledgement to to our education, decency and culture. Foreign students coming for study in various universities of all over Gujarat. Students come to India under the scholarship received under INDIAN COUNCIL OF CULTURAL RELATIONS- ICCR. GTU has topped among the universities in Gujarat for having foreign students enrolled in this year. (2019-20.) 55 students have enrolled for different programmes under GTU. This number is d highest among all universities in Gujarat.
GTU is the only university in Gujarat having a specific department of foreign educational relations. Department of INTERNATIONAL Relations (DIR) conducts five different programmes. Inherent to which our students go the foreign universities and foreign students come to our universities to study. Thus, the number of foreign students coming to India to study has increased and Gujarat Technological University has topped among universities. Students are enrolling from even developed countries to study the subjects related to Technology, Medical science and management.
