Ahmedabad: Integrated Training & Placement (I-TAP) Cell of GTU will organise more placement fairs to help students of rural institutes. The main objective of such Centralized placement fairs of GTU I-TAP is to cover all rural students who have studied MBA /Engineering /Pharmacy /Diploma / Architecture from their nearby institutes affiliated to GTU. Due to this, there would have an opportunity for rural students to get job and placed in MNCs and National level companies.
I-TAP cell has organized placement drive Recently for Marwadi Shares & Finance Ltd. Marwadi is a Gujarat based financial service group dealing in equities / commodities / currencies broking and portfolio management services. This placement drive was organized at various branches of Marwadi Shares & Finance Ltd across Gujarat for various designation (like Branch Manager, Relationship Manager and Dealer cum Back office) during 23rd July 2016 to 26th July 2016 for Management Students with any specializations of 2014-16 batch. And fruitfully, 300 students have taken part in this Placement drive and Out of 300 students, around 30 students would be selected with the salary package of 1.8 Lacs (p.a.).
In future, GTU I-TAP cell is going to organize placement drive of Axis Bank and Securities, Sun Pharmaceutical for various branches of study viz. Engineering, Management, Architecture and Pharmacy. GTU is working towards supporting affiliated Institutes to enhance employability skill in students. This will help students to get job and also it would help them to fit in turbulence environment. This Cell also works for development of entrepreneur skills, which helps students to established new business generate employability for society.
Earlier, placement drive for Wipro Technologies Ltd was organized by GTU I-TAP cell at National Institute of cooperative Management, Gandhinagar campus on 7th Nov, 2015 for Degree Engineering students of Computer, Computer Science, Information & Technology, Circuitry Branches (Electronics/Electronics and communication, Instrumentation and control, Electrical etc) with more than 90 openings with the salary package of 3.3 Lacs (p.a.). Before this, placement drive for AXIS Securities was organized by GTU I-TAP cell at GTU, Chandkheda campus for MBA students with any specialization of 2013-2015 Batch with 240 opening in all over Gujarat. Axis securities Ltd is 100% subsidiary company of Axis Bank Ltd.
HR Conclave
GTU I-TAP cell is planning to organize HR Conclave during Nov-Dec 2016 for the healthy relationship between Industry and University for the better prospects of the GTU students.
